WebUnfortunately only the M249 takes belts base game unless you have a ton of other mods and are the only one that fits on a turret without blazemod. With blazemod(or default cdda) the rest of the guns take stanmags too so yeah..... the only issue with M249 is that it only fires in burst making it spend ammo much faster and with a lot of wastage.
