WebMar 24, 2024 · Mar 20, 2024. #1. I just had a Martin 00-17 on the bench with an interesting problem. Dropped D tuning. When an F# was played on the 4th string, 4th fret it sounded fine. If the note was played while a G was depressed on the low E, 5th fret, the F# buzzed. The G didn't need to be played...just fretted. Drove me nuts for a couple hours.
