I have a Pioneer PLX-1000 turntable and I would like to install a Hana cart. The Pioneer's VTA adjustment will not put the Hana at a proper VTA. I was thinking of using a thick Herbie's mat to make the Pioneer's VTA adjustment able to correctly set the VTA. I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Just wondering on the Community's take. I run a Systemdek iii transcription table which has a very heavy platter that is convergent to the center. Have tried felt-cork-Platter Matter-Herbies Way mat and finally a Funk Firm Achromat 3mm.
